The way you get high CP Pokémon is powering up your Pokémon as much as you can each time before evolving them. When they evolve the CP doubles. I'm currently working towards trying to get my Pidgeotto to 700CP before I evolve it again. So far I'm only at 231CP for it (it's going to be a while but eh no rush).

My Pidgeot is at 434CP, he's pretty good.
I'm going for 700 I want all my Pokémon above 1k once fully evolved. I could evolve mine right now and it would be around 500CP but too low for the gyms around me.

No matter what order you evolve/power up they end up at the same CP

Actually, that is not true at all. When you evolve your Pokémon it doubles its' CP. That is why you want to try to get the CP as high as possible before evolving them :p

Anyone can post a video, it does not automatically mean they know what they're talking about. When you evolve a Pokémon the CP doubles.

Explain how the cp doubles. When I got a L 104 caterpie and I evolved it it turned L 114

And when my sister got a L100 spearow it turned into a L 400 fearow

That's not doubling

RE: Pokémon GO - Skryptec - 07-11-2016

This game is great.
Although you will need wifi in order to play it.
Which sucks.

So I can only play it at shit places where I can not find a pokemon.

Yea, lol. I had a 200CP Eevee and it turned into a 700CP Vaporeon

RE: Pokémon GO - Erudite_temp - 07-12-2016

It's worse in the UK. This shit hasn't really officially been released in the UK yet people (including me) are still playing this shit. Schools, streets, everywhere. It's insane, earlier on my before my history course lesson we were just strolling the corridors loooking for them.

RE: Pokémon GO - Skryptec - 07-12-2016

Jesus christ, this is literally insane.
I see kids, grown adults etc playing this game literally everywhere!
