I do believe there is life beyond our planet. Whether that be a plant, fish, intelligent life, there will be something out there.
Recent discoveries are claiming that some stars/planets have had water on them at some point, some may still have water but we haven't found it yet. If there is a planet with water and even the smallest amount of oxygen then a bacteria could a least live there.
I'm very open minded when it comes to life outside of our planet and I hope I'm still alive when they find something.

We'll never discover aliens because the ones that trapped us in the matrix won't put them in it.
