Braces aren't that bad!
You don't have it bad. My brother had them from when he was 7 to 17 years old. 10 years is a long time to have metal in your mouth. Needless to say, he craved popcorn.
They don't look bad either. Not only is it accepted by everyone, it's completely normal. More than half the kids here get them, that I know for sure. I had them, but only for two years. It's more than worth it in the end. Nothing girls love more than pearly whites. :3
You'll survive, dude. Just do everything the orthodontists tell you.

Your braces look fine one you, which is good, and they will help you in the long run. My brother almost got braces but we ended up not getting them because the orthodontist never got back to us. He needs them though.

I wonder if you could get some kind of dental gel to maybe sooth the pain a little bit. Is it hurting because of the spacers or what?
