RE: Watching/Last Watched - Nyx - 03-26-2016

I rarely if ever watch anime any more. Last thing I believe I watched was 'Nanatsu no Taizai' or 'Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?'. Mostly reading my weekly mangas for my fix of Japan.

Watching Gate right now....It's amazing! HIghly recommend it. I just started it today, already finished the first story arc. I'm on Episode 13

It's got some spiffy anime chicks too

I don't know what happened with Charlotte...totally forgot about that..whoops

I loved the Dungeon one. I really wish they'd brought out more episodes. It was too short.

I watched a bit of Red Data Girl but lost interest. Struggling to watch anime at the moment. I feel like there's so many other things that I have on the go. Will go back to it though I'm sure.

I recently finished Sankarea, pretty funny and cute, although kinda weird at some parts. The premise isn't anything revolutionary, but nearly all characters are pretty likeable which makes it an enjoyable thing to watch.
You really have to read the manga afterwards, though, as the anime only covers the first 9 of around 50~ish chapters. The manga is a lot darker though, especially towards the end, where it ramps the amount of action and 'horror' up by a ton and goes from moe zombies to bloody murder.

Still pretty great though :^)

I wish I did this with shows.. I always want a physical copy of books/manga though. I hate reading online. But I can't afford to buy it and certainly don't have the storage space for it... Shame. Might be something I start up when I have a new place and know I won't have to move again in like 1-2 years.

RE: Watching/Last Watched - BurritoBeans - 04-13-2016

I'm not really a dude into anime, but if someone tells me to watch something then I'll watch it just for the heck of not being bored. So, because of this, Skullmeat and one other dude told me "Go watch this series" and pointed me towards this series after I said "I'll watch about anything", Nyaruko Crawling With Love I think it's titled. (Shows you how much I pay attention, lol) It's OK I guess, I like some of the jokes like using a fork to get Nyarlathotep to calm down and all that, but I'm not the biggest fan of the whole "Chasing after the dude" thing as I find it to just get boring and it really only seems to be an opportunity for fanservice more than developing anything. I've only seen three episodes, I'll get around to watching more after a bit, and while it is kinda funny, I will say that some stuff I'm just not a fan of.

Also, Skull keeps telling me that I should watch some series, Excel Saga, but it looks kinda dumb to me, so I'll probably watch that when I'm done with this one that I'm on.

Heh, I saw a bit of this at a friends, and my reaction was "Pile of shit" so I dunno. I'll throw that on the list to try though - maybe my opinion will change I guess.

You gotta watch it from the beginning, and at least the entire episode

starting midway through ruins it Stressed

Yeah, I don't really like reading online either, but nowadays I just download the scanlated manga from the scanlator's website and read it on my phone. Maybe it's more enjoyable for you that way.
