RE: [HC Official] HC Crypter v1.2 - SloothDemon - 08-08-2014 I tried to run it on Anubis and would not work got the error - Unfortunately your file could not be executed. It seems the file you provided is a Windows executable (PE) file, but the program failed to load/start in our analysis system. A typical reason for this error is that some of the required library files (dlls) are missing in our system or the program was not intended to be run in the operating system we are using. According to the Unix file command your file is of the following type: PE32+ executable (GUI) x86-64, for MS Windows I then tried to upload to Anubis without crypting and it worked. Any ideas what the problem could be? I believe it is not intended to run on your OS. HC Crypter is a scan-time crypter and does not use any DLL files for process injection. RE: [HC Official] HC Crypter v1.2 - SloothDemon - 08-08-2014 Does that mean that it is not possible to infect Unix based systems when crypted? Seems like what you're saying. Thanks for the quick reply. That's right  RE: [HC Official] HC Crypter v1.2 - SloothDemon - 08-08-2014 (08-08-2014, 06:57 PM)Solixious Wrote:(08-08-2014, 06:16 PM)SloothDemon Wrote: Does that mean that it is not possible to infect Unix based systems when crypted? Seems like what you're saying. Thanks for the quick reply. I wasn't aiming on infecting Unix based systems. I just didn't want to be sending the crypted file out and not getting any slaves. Thanks for your quick responses anyway, I now know where I stand and I've learnt a little something! RE: [HC Official] HC Crypter v1.2 - python27 - 08-09-2014 Program looks nice but it detects 32 antiviruses from 54, so not usefull. If you simply want to use it for malicious purpose, it might not be the best option. I would not recommend that too :Sarcastic: RE: [HC Official] HC Crypter v1.2 - python27 - 08-10-2014 I dont want to use it for malicious purpose but I just try to scan it thanks for making some stuff.
