I have 8GB(2x4GB) ram but I'm looking forward to buying extra 8GB (2x4GB). So I should have 16GB soon

My computer currently has 4GB of RAM... and I'm pretty sure my laptop has 4GB too.
When I get the money,I'll be building a gaming computer which will have 16GB ram.

I only have 4 GB RAM at the moment but Im planning to add more since I do a lot of stuff most of the time and I dont want to close every application just to do the other task that I need to do.
