Except that many low-quality posts are also kept active in the same manner. So it really evens out imo. so the question is, do you want a whole lot of useless posts on HQ and LQ threads, or a whole lot of thanks pushes?

Perhaps what you need is an archive forum for really top of the line posts. then let the rest of them sort themselves out. or just leave the hq posts, and delete the low ones. then all youll have in the forum is high and higher quality.

Or... and this doesnt sound unreasonable. when a thread gets thanked, it gets booted back to the top again? solves all the problems if someones willing to mod mybb to do it lol.

An equally good ideal even so.
Though as for the Low Quality One Hit Wonders, they can merely be deleted as is the usual Spam related protocol followed by Staff accordingly.
I believe I've already made mention of this at least once in a [several] comment[s].
I usually read every new comment/thread upon logging in (the secret to me being online so long) and end up deleting an average of 50 comments consisting of Low Quality.
Tis' nothing unusual for me anymore as it's become second nature at this point.

I also dislike the forums categories.

Examples:
Linux and Wifi hacking. These seem like 2 entirely different subjects. why are they together?
Hacking tools: do you really need 4 subforums? like cant hacking tools be hacking tools?
ebooks: the forum is atleast 3 months old and there is 4 threads?
Graphics: There are 3 forums under this heading with <= 20 threads Why not just have a "Graphics" Forum?
And ill stop there for now.

Meanwhile you are missing forums like Hardware... Windows? Network hacking in general, not specifically wifi. Mobile/Cellular hacking/phreaking. maybe get real technical and add a section on computer certifications? dont understand something about CISSP or A+? resources on where/what to study?

Im just saying... a bunch of empty forums that arent really needed even if they were a tad active, versus forums that are actually computer/hacking above noob level?

I totally agree with you, also @Deque had some good feedback on that.
This will be done once I'm home again.

Thank you for the criticism, it has been saved.
