Its kinda obvious but I once was a really noobish hacker and used tools made by other people and I used mostly backtrack 5 but now I know better then using tools from other people and calling yourself a hacker...in fact it bugs the crap out of me when people do that

When I was 12 I infected my schools computer system with what I dubbed the 'loading...' virus which just put a loading screen up on a loop. (yes I know im not the original maker of it, but I had no idea anyone had made one b4) I was young and dumb back then and yes, I got in shitloads of trouble. Anyway that was the first virus I ever made (not really a virus) so the name became my screename for most things that require one.

The story behind my name is that my desired username, the name that I always use from age 3 to now, is already taken that's why I made up this username.

8 years back, remembering usernames for different accounts and profiles online was a severe pain in my ass. One day I was signing up on a certain website that asked for a username. I tried 17 different username but all were rejected. Checked for help and found " Your username should have at least 1 capital letter, 1 small letter, a digit, a special character, a dead rabbit's tail, an enemy's blood and some other shit like that, so i ended up using this username: aLok95#m. And then I started using the simpler version alok9shm everywhere.

And guess what, I just type alok9shm in google, and my whole log book turns up in search results, every posts/comments i made on any website can be found just by searching my username. I know its a serious breach to my personal identity but still life goes on.

At the time when I was about 9 or something, I was still interested in computers and was coding HTML code.
I realized, if I was going to be a real "h4x0r" i had to have a cool name.
So, I was checking through different forums and also different Youtube names, and I took some cool parts from that and I came up with this name.
No idea why I've been using it since, but for some reason, I still use it. lol

I needed a cool username for gaming and I can't think of anything super original or fancy so I just went on a whim and typed the first group of letters that popped up in my head.

Ehm yeah, just thought this was a cool name, using it since half a year or so now.
The real story we all know, right?

RE: What's the story behind your username? - Insider - 04-13-2014

I was kind of young and obessed over spies, infiltration, counter surveilance, undercover & all those things! (I still am :3) So after my first alias which was kind of lame I decided to change it to "Insider", because I wanted to be a cyber spy, a hacker insider Tongue That's my story. Nothing special about it.

Edit: I'm probably going to change my alias soon to something else, this is too overused!
