if you like portal then try portal prelude its a user made version based on the original portal engine. I haven't finished it yet some of the puzzles are diabolicly difficult. Oh and its free

Back before Linux really had much in the way of gaming, I tried Battle for Wesnoth as it was considered one of the better Linux games. I'm glad I did, as it was pretty damn good for a free turn-based strategy. Has a lot of different scenarios and story-lines.

Why a lot of people including myself prefer PC gaming to any console. The only reason I use consoles is that they are cheap and don't need upgrading so often but the overall experience of the PC is far better both graphically and control wise

Terraria, Prison Architect, and State of Decay are all very good games.
