I run Ubuntu on my laptop and Windows 7 on my desktop but I have yet to try any other distros. Ubuntu has been stable for me but I feel as I become more experienced with UNIX I will give some of the other distros a chance.

Ubuntu is Linux, not Unix.

Ubuntu is Linux, not Unix.
