btw, about reset the password from safe mode, it probably doesn't work if the administrator's passwords changed (but they oftenly not), any suggestions?

Very good. Presents a lot of different options. Me like options.
IMHO, the offline NT password and registry editor option worked the best out of all of them the plenty of times I've recovered Windows passwords for people. Ophcrack works good if they absolutely need to know the old password, but if not offline NT is a lot quicker.

I agree with this 100% but also a cool disk is konn password disk. its hard to retrieve paswords but simple to change them with a switch of a sid or other tactics. its a bootable cd and is awzsome. I have used it many attimes.
Do you ever have much success with ophcrack? I have ddownloaded the tables and used the GUI and bootable CD and only been able to crack super simple P.W.? Any suggestions
