I have the droid Turbo ATM. Super fast android phone, great specs, great screen,amazing battery etc.. If your not tied to Verizon, however, or have the option of getting the Nexus 6, do it. If the nexus was OK Verizon/not out of stick 24/7 I'd get it. Updates straight from google, easily unlockability/rootability means custom rims and development heaven (if your into that). Its also blazing fast. It has the same specs as turbo (not counting battery)
Personally, wouldn't recommend any of Amazon's phones. They have a very limited user base which means a stupidly bad selection of apps. The ui is also super inefficient, slow, etc. If you like the m8 do yourself a favor and get nexus or droid( or moto x instead of droid if you want the design). You'll regret the fire phone

I said that, then found that Hatsune Miku has a limited edition phone. Capitalism at work. @BreakR happened to see it in Japan and I think he grabbed it for me. Wonder how much my M8 can sell for, since it's still in awesome condition.

I dropped it in water without its case on.
Yes, it's waterproof, but only when there's not a huge crack in it.
