EDIT: If you'd like, I can probably rustle up some scripture saying that intoxication is immoral, since you seem to like marijuana judging by your signature.
So you must seem to think that works get you into heaven, or that I have to throw water on my head to be forgiven. Nope, if I feel guilty (& I don't about marijuana, it's medicine, it's antibodies, not intoxication.) about lying, cheating, swearing, then I pray and ask for forgiveness.

So if prayer saves sick people, medicine would be forbidden? Marijuana would be forbidden, so you my friend, are going to hell.

Muslims believe the same thing as the prophets. They believe that there will be a savior, as prophesied by their prophets. They just believe this has yet to come, same as Jews. Since they share the same belief as people you assert went to heaven, why do they go to hell?

Simply because they need to believe that part of God did die in the form of a perfect human, for everyone's sins, past, present, and future, and is alive today.
You should really try to read Revelation, it refers to the USA as the fourth kingdom that treads down all other nations.

Originally when i read the OP I wanted to stay away from this, but I got bored and decided to read. First off, twelve, your a perfect example of a brainwashed christian. Do you even know why your religion was started? It was created by the Romans to make conquering people easier. Your bible is a book of fairy tales. Same goes for every modern day religion. Does that make any of them wrong? No. The bible is supposed to be used as a tool to guide your life in the right direction. And if there is a heaven or hell, you'll be permitted to heaven. But seeing as that is not you have fun in hell, if there is one. Second, Cyber, what where you thinking when you started a religious debate thread on AF?

God did die in a human body, His name was Jesus. The only way to get into heaven is to simply pray and tell God you're a sinner, repent your sins, & accept Jesus into your heart, acknowledging that He did die for your sins. I'm telling you if you do that whole-heartedly, you will feel different and you will try to start to do right, and when you slip up, like everyone does, you simply just ask for forgiveness. I've almost died over 5 times, flipped an SUV, drove it upside down on the road for 40 yards(drunk). I've hit a concrete beginning of a bridge going 45mph. Almost died at birth from having alot of mucus in my throat. Had 3 bullets whiz within a foot over my head, guy was shooting a high caliber rifle thru a shooting range mound while I was dove hunting. These are serious questions regarding ones life, have a open mind and an open heart, the religion that gives you peace is the one that is true, don't have any doubts when it comes to eternity.

I'm not saying all Christians are brain washed, I'm saying he is. He is blindly following a faith he knows little about. When a person listens only to their minister (or priest, or wizard, or whatever it is) then they are brainwashed.

The Romans killed Christians for a few decades, so, no. They did eventually adopt it for its similarities to Islam and Judaism.

What you said is true. But when the Romans adopted it, like with everything else, they changed it. And that is the root of modern Christianity.
