Came here first from the DZ merge (which I only was an active member of because of the CC merge), then the site shut down, then came back from the HF merge.
It never permanently shutdown. It got back up after a few hours or so.

I came here from the merge of Historic, feel like it was a good decision to merge, surely adds more activity.

I can't blame people for feeling that way. I know that if SL got merged, I'd feel pretty annoyed about it. As members, it's something that's very out of your control. I'm really glad you like it here though.

I wanted to help out, but wasn't given the time needed.
But things will always happen that people may not agree with and I guess we just have to go with the flow.
And as for my comment on the community being great, it just shows on my thread seeking advice. Many members gave their input without hate, I was actually relatively surprised lol. The forums I had came from before HF and here there was always hate and flaming.
Also, nobody really affiliated with the newer members, but here it's the opposite, it's awesome.

There will always be someone with issues about newbies and minor flaming. I have to hand it to the staff and mainly Oni for that to a degree though. He keeps a pretty close eye on that. Newer members are often welcome just because that's the sort of community it is (which I love). In terms of any rudeness on the forum, if anything gets serious, Oni/staff get in there relatively quickly.
