RE: Suicide - Kureo - 02-26-2014 (02-25-2014, 10:59 PM)Death Wrote: I honestly don't see any 'true' reasoning behind this. If someone wants to end their life, let them. I'm not saying you shouldn't try and help them before they commit suicide, you can try and change their mind. But the fact that people bash people that are suicidal is ignorant. You're not making the choice, they are. They should be allowed to make their own decision, without being bashed. But the world is going to always be like that, and it won't change. " You don't choose if you're born, you chose how you live and you should be allowed to chose how you die. " Many people believe that, and that specific line I wrote several years ago. I fully agree with you, but only on the first part. People should be allowed to think what they want, but they should also be taught so that they understand the consequences that their thoughts may have. I don't think that someone who is suicidal should be hated for simply being that, after all, they are just who they are. However, I think that one should teach those who are that, so they are certain of their thoughts. What I disagree with you on is that the world never change, it does. In fact, the world constantly change, what rarely changes is humanity. But that as well has changed before, so it may as well change again and we have over the cause of just a few years. Just think of how homosexuals or colored people were treated just under 100 years ago.
