That's fine, so long as we don't keep extending it over and over again. There will always be new members.
Provided that the people in first place are alright with it, I'd certainly extend it a week or two.

Because of the downtime and recent issues, I will be extending the contest another week. It will now end on the 18th. Unfortunately, I will be on a plane during the 18th so payment may take a bit longer than normal. I hope to see a large increase in participation this week. There is still time to win!
