I go in to see the prosecutor on Monday. I'm very nervous and hopeful I won't have to request a court date :/ No news on the person's injury claims.

Went a bit better than expected I think? They reduced it to a minor offense and dropped demerit points from 6 to 2

That's good to read, Inclusive of your demerit points.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe you get 12 demerit points every 3 years.

My first car accident was in 2015. I was driving a Kia Sorento and got sideswiped by a Mazda Van who pushed me into a Toyota Camry. My Kia and the guy's Mazda were totaled, the Toyota had minor front body damage. No injuries.

Thankful that I've never been involved in a car accident. I'm still young so it's bound to happen eventually, just crossing my fingers that it doesn't.

Sounds very similar to my early summer accident when my bro was driving the family back from QB. Unfortunately there were injuries to the guy's girlfriend/wife who caused this three-way collision.

I appreciate it. I called in for a checkup but they said it doesn't look like the guy is pursuing it. I believe it's because it's minor or because they talked to the ambulance guys who were on scene. I remember him talking about his ankle being damaged in the past but tried to play it along like the minor crash did something more to it. One of the guys straight up told him it was unrelated and its impossible to have even been hit(the guy was the passenger of the other vehicle). I'm glad my insurance company is actively fighting this (for their sake and mine, it's some bs and fraudulent)

The Kia Sorento, Is a beautiful looking vehicle. They're very popular In my locality.
The main thing Is, you came through unscathed.
