It's not anime, but just finished watching "Rurouni Kenshin" the film adaptation and it is excellent...highly recomended.

I always watch Anime alone, so I don't really have to worry. Anime doesn't make me cry either, I tear up but that is it. Last thing that made me cry that is anything close to Anime was Avatar: The Last Airbender.
