It's a good habit to get regular checkup actually... so you can atleast stop arising problems when they just started.

Certainly so.
When no pain Is experienced, a lot of people assume everything Is fine and don't visit the dentist for years. It's only when the pain hits hard that they attend, by which time the damage Is done to a number of teeth.

To be honest, I might be one of them too, even tho, I do think about health-related things like that sometimes... but in the end I am like "Nah it's fine anyways". That's a super naive way of thinking actually. We won't be young forever, the body will eventually wear out, so does our health.

I visit my dentist twice a year too and I really care about my dental health. The thing is that I'm allergic to some kinds of teeth care products so I have to use only natural remedies. I even had to purchase a bamboo toothbrush instead of the plastic one because it's organic and will not harm my teeth. The toughest experience was wearing braces... It's a real challenge but it worth doing it.

You're the far and few between who looks after their teeth In this manner, well done.
I do the exact same and just to see what's going on underneath, I have a full dental X-ray each year.

Even though most people get braces in their teenage years, I decided to wait and got braces about 8 months ago. I go every month to get several adjustments, and have been dealing with rubber bands for about 3 moths now. I have a huge overbite, and I should be close to fix it. A good thing is that I was never a mouth breather, so my jaw is fairly well defined, and my teeth "profile" is nearly perfect accoording to my orthodontist. Now recently I have been mewing, and now keeping my tongue at the roof of my mouth became a habit.

Oh yeah when the needle from the Novocaine injection hits your nerve that feels some good

I visit about once every six months as well. I also do yearly physicals.
