The moment I saw SG Lux (which I also have, inb4 weeb) I knew it was Sailor Moon-inspired.

I like how they have Chrome Rammus, Foxfire Ahri, Explorer Ezreal, and Safari Caitlyn. It's rare that a game does such tasteful references.

I never thought of any of those skins as references.  Explain pl0x.

Mozilla Firefox
Internet Explorer
Apple Safari

Wow it's dangerous and dark.

I've always preferred a dark background.

As with this forum, It's easy on the eyes and doesn't cause too much strain.

RE: Desktop Thread! (V3) - silur - 02-14-2017

here's mine, 100% handmade cairo  (except the original background) and LUA.
Everything is animated, bars are according to system load trivially.

Agree.

When you're on your PC for 10+ hours, a darker background can make a lot of difference In minimizing eye strain. Imagine looking at Google's homepage for 10 hours.

I agree with text editors and IDEs; I have a nice dark theme on Sublime and the same on Eclipse. Whenever I do a fresh install of the latter, that's the first thing I do. I can't stand the white background.

RE: Desktop Thread! (V3) - silur - 02-15-2017

Surveys showed that coders are more productive (0.9 correlation) when using a dark background/theme, it tires your eye much less Smile
