There are written rules about staff impersonation; if people want to be stupid and not follow them, they can reap the consequences.
As for the readability of certain colours, if it becomes a legitimate issue (it has been only once that I can remember), staff can take appropriate action.
Would names like @Skullmate and @oni-sensai count as staff impersonation?

They wouldn't have the Staff/Admin Userbar.

If I recall correctly, I believe a member was banned for trying to Impersonate staff, namely Oni.
He even used the admin userbar as his avatar. This was a while back so I don't remember exactly who. You're right though, It's not likely that members would Intentionally try and assume the role of staff.

I don't understand why he'd do such a thing.
Not only Is It Immoral, but It put his position as a member at risk with the rest of the community. As such, the ban took place.

I'm pretty sure he was joking, but he did it right after I (jokingly) impersonated Aeolian AND GOT WARNED NOT TO DO IT, so he made a stupid decision.

In my views, I believe anything that depicts a staff member (even not to It's exactness), should not be allowed.
