RE: Do you want to be in a relationship? - Hysho - 12-14-2019 I've dated 2 guys online. One was so cool and everything wished we didn't break up. The other was sort of manipulative???? After these to relationships, I would rather just date IRL instead of online RE: Do you want to be in a relationship? - mothered - 12-14-2019 (12-14-2019, 03:19 AM)Hysho Wrote: I've dated 2 guys online. Physically meeting for the very first time, can determine a lot more about a person than a few Images and text on the PC screen. I will say, online dating lead me to someone much more well suited, though they were the other side of an ocean. You can just as easily find terrible people online, as you can in person. One positive of online dating, is that you will more than likely meet people through similar interests (such as video games, on a common website etc). In real life, you'll often meet people through the pure chance of being in the same place at the same time. I've found my friendships online share more common interests, than any in real life. RE: Do you want to be in a relationship? - zn0 - 12-14-2019 I've only had girlfriends IRL but since I'm single now I'm considering online dating. I've always known in the back of my mind that I'll most likely meet my soulmate through the internet as that's where I spend most of my time, problem is just the distance. There were a few key things that would impact the success of an ldr (know what date you were going to meet up next among others things). Personally, I know the "bound to happen" isn't always true, as I've been in a 6.5 year long ldr myself. However, I wouldn't advise anyone get into an ldr, or if you do, try to keep it within the same country borders. RE: Do you want to be in a relationship? - Bobll - 12-15-2019 I absolutely agree with you. In a dispute, truth is sometimes bornWink Yes, I absolutely want to be in a relationship and now I am establishing communication and relationships with one woman whom I met after one day I went to the site hoping to find a good service for online dating and saw her there. We started a conversation that grew into a relationship. And I'm happy with that. |
