I prefer your mock-up to Oni's design, but it still needs some work. RE: New Sinisterly Theme - Xanders - 06-06-2015 The after one looks pretty good has more details then the original one. There are no gradients. Also, I only performed edits on the header - which @crow and I agreed upon. Most images/colors will likely be changed. The difference between my work and @crow's is that I am actually doing the HTML/CSS. So no, the theme probably isn't going to look as good as his mockup for a while. The goal is for it to look closer to his mockup in the end. (06-06-2015, 02:33 PM)Eclipse Wrote: OP's font was better. There's been mixed opinions on the font. I am personally undecided. A lot of people dislike script fonts. The more feminine, the worse. I've been considering using a blockier font (similar to the current one), but I'd like some more opinions first. Script fonts have their place, and they can look pretty amazing if done right. RE: New Sinisterly Theme - OversouL - 06-07-2015 (06-06-2015, 08:00 PM)Oni Wrote: There are no gradients. RE: New Sinisterly Theme - Oni - 06-08-2015 I have decided to cease my work on the theme with @crow. As much as I respect @crow, there were too many disagreements to make the theme work. We discussed the possibility of him creating the theme on his own and presenting it to me later, although no plans have been formalized. I appreciate the work he has put in, as I know we spent a lot of time on it, and it's a bit of a disappointment to abandon it. I am still planning on releasing a modified version of our current theme in the near future. RE: New Sinisterly Theme - Lain - 06-08-2015 Did I read that right? Parallax in the header? Pls, parallax is only good for one page websites, where it wouldn't be annoying. ;-; RE: New Sinisterly Theme - Kaneki Ken - 06-08-2015 I don't like the ribbon look on the navbar. Maybe just a plain flat style will do the trick. But otherwise it looks pretty fantastic! Can't wait for it to be finished and implemented. RE: New Sinisterly Theme - Akane - 06-10-2015 So where do I fit into this? Oni already kicked me off the menu.
