Have OS X, but use VMware with Windows 7 for gaming. I probably use Windows 7 on the MacBook more than I use the OS X side.

My computer has Windows 8 but I think I liked Windows 7 more. Windows 8 just seems weird, even now that I am used to using it, I still think its odd.

I can tell you now it's not Windows 8. Can't stand the touch screen. I used to use it for a while and just stopped liking it. Now I'm permanently with Windows 7.

On linux you have a lot more control over the operating system. You can go deeper into your computer.
