RE: From Script Kiddie to a Hacker - A Comprehensive Guide for the Misguided - BlueCat - 05-25-2014 There is no such thing as a hacker or a super hacker, Everything is merely just lables I guess, Call yourself a super hacker, Good on you. RE: From Script Kiddie to a Hacker - A Comprehensive Guide for the Misguided - meemeeto - 05-26-2014 i am not a super hacker nor a hacker, i agree with the definition : a hacker is a person that have a capabilities to analyse software/hardware, find a vulnerabilities and build his own set of tools to exploit them so i found the posts of Ex094 sufficient enaugh to explain the diffirences between hacker, cracker and so on great thanks to Ex094 RE: From Script Kiddie to a Hacker - A Comprehensive Guide for the Misguided - Ex094 - 05-26-2014 (05-26-2014, 11:14 AM)meemeeto Wrote: i am not a super hacker nor a hacker, i agree with the definition : a hacker is a person that have a capabilities to analyse software/hardware, find a vulnerabilities and build his own set of tools to exploit them Glad I helped
RE: From Script Kiddie to a Hacker - A Comprehensive Guide for the Misguided - rexasarus - 07-11-2014 Is a script kiddie such a bad thing? As long as the 'hacker' understands what the tool does and what happens as he runs commands, surely it would be better to use massively improved open source tools than to spend the time writing his own, which would not be as good. Being able to code your own hacking tools is brilliant, however I personally would not regard it as an essential ability every decent hacker should have. RE: From Script Kiddie to a Hacker - A Comprehensive Guide for the Misguided - DaRKAnGenT - 08-30-2014 best guide about the difference hacking and cracking....really great job RE: From Script Kiddie to a Hacker - A Comprehensive Guide for the Misguided - Lifenulled - 09-12-2014 interesting tutorial, i'll read it when i get home ![]() thanks RE: From Script Kiddie to a Hacker - A Comprehensive Guide for the Misguided - Zero One - 09-14-2014 This was a very true topic covered here. I for can say I have been called a "Skid" "Skript Kiddy" ect. all before. For simply using tools as havij Nessus and some others. I will admit my programming skills may not be up to level or on par with the more "Advance" or even "Intermediate" programmers/hackers out in the world/field. I have been putting alot of my time since into sites that offer free programming courses such as codeacademy. I have asked around places and people have been pointing me towards Python and PHP at first. If someone that has some expertise would think different please let me know. I also have been doing Javascript (Very very awesome stuff) I have also heard of Ruby. Sadly never even looked at a script of Ruby I have heard some crazy stories about it. Thank you for this post and it was a great read!!! -Zero One RE: From Script Kiddie to a Hacker - A Comprehensive Guide for the Misguided - uniquealgorithm - 09-19-2014 From your qoutes"nothing is secure".
