You know I had those threat emails back in the day saying HC supports Anonymous and has connection with Anon, just because some of our members were using Anon in the username and avatars. xD

Like I say to my friends, "Only 1% of them actually understand the princips of hacking. The rest think DDoS is hacking. Hacking isn't DDoS. It's about finding vulnerabilities and exploiting them. Not about "I just hacked (dos'ed) my friend, I'm such a 1337 h4x0r!"".
I like the idea, but not the "1337 h4x0rs". I laugh my ass off, each time I see the big media storm, just because a skid DoS'ed a site! xD

Actually the Media is pointing more attention to the DDoS attack than the shit that is real in the hacking world.

My personal opinion of anonymous is that's a label used by a bunch of skids to brag about. But before you start flaming read on. If anonymous was a group like you saw rising back in the time, I don't know if they still exist but for example TheWikiBoat who had a leader and the members where quite smart. They earn respect and I support them. But today some random dude has a problem with someone else, they make a video with a transcript to call help from other "anonymous members" equiped with LOIC. But enough about the bad sides. I agree totally with the idea of Anonymous and support some of there operation. But in my mind I will always rememer that it was anonymous who caused the big downtime of HC
