Sparknotes are really for English Literature. If you're doing language then you won't use them.
Ignore them, Bitesize is actually very good. It's just one of those easy to read layouts. They have all of the information you need with some exception for the strictly highest level stuff in some instances. 9 times out of 10 you can get everything you need. They usually lay things out according to the level anyway. I used to use it as part of my revision and well, it worked for me. If bitesize doesn't work for you then that's down to individual preferences I guess. Everyone likes to learn in their own way.
