^ Exactly my thoughts. I was in one for a while and it didn't go so well, we ended up going our separate ways because we both had busy lives and it was difficult to keep regular contact. But this just depends on the relationship and the people involved.

I live thousands of km away from my girlfriend and we live it pretty well.
It's sometimes tough for other reasons, but it's a real trial for the strenght of your love.
