Okay I guess. Was never fond of the idea of the Bible being used to disprove science. It's kind of insulting in a way. But thanks for your opinions.

If two people of the same sex want to love each other, then that's their business. Nobody should be there telling them they can't, and that includes the government. It's been shown that homosexuality is a genetic predisposition, while some people still like to say it isn't. Others would call it a "crime against nature", like Florida's dumb reasoning for making oral sex illegal. Nature isn't sentient, so it can't care if "crimes" are being committed against it. If it works for someone, it works.

Ironically enough, conservatives who want "small government" are the ones mainly against same-sex marriage. If they're so concerned about gay marriage ruining the sanctity of their religious sacrament that's separate from the legal contract, then why do they have divorces? Those are worse against any such "sanctity". In addition, if they want "small government", why doesn't that include one that doesn't care what the sex of either party is in a marriage?

When I was in highschool, I joined a little group called "GSA" (Gay Straight Alliance). I was the only straight kid to join the group. Kids immediately looked at me different. This fact might scare some straight people away, and say hurtful things such as "I'm not one of them." But long story short, I ended up being Co-President my senior year. Many "gay" kids didn't want to join, because they didn't want to get picked on, but I think that was the main goal of the group.

Someone once told me "If you don't like gay marriage, then don't have one." That statement is so amazing, and so true that I loved it immediately. John Caparulo once said "I hate broccoli, but you don't see me on the streets picketing broccoli lovers. Just because I don't like it, doesn't mean no one can like it."

Good posts people. I enjoyed them. Especially the part saying if I don't like it, then no one can like it. I find that extremely selfish. I'm amazed how we are in the 21st century and people still have these mindsets and treat other humans like piles of dirt. You'd think after the way blacks were treated, people would straighten up.

I'm also amazed at my negative capital. I don't even

I'm not against homosexuality, but I do have to admit some homosexuals are very bitchy. But the majority of them are really nice people when you get to know them, I have a couple of homosexual friends and they're pretty cool people.
