Does the PC meet the requirements for Windows 11?

Honestly, Microsoft keeps messing things up.
🤣

My opinion stick to windows 7 ultimate or 8.1 Pro.
Other newer versions are full with trash disk usage just jumping high at 100% and performance drops 🤣

Many users rely on Windows updates to secure their PC, but I personally find It useless.

I have better things to do, than losing all sessions due to an update reboot and having to wait for the BS message of "Working on updates 15% complete do not turn off your computer". I apply my own security measures, and my systems have been running at their optimal state for close to 15 years.

100%
I do the same.

My Windows 10 OS Is pretty light on system resources, and I have 40+ browser tabs open:

It's good to read you share the same view on the BS Windows updates.

Yep, but windows 10 on 8GB ram Core i5 makes me feel that I am using a dual core 2 GB Ram laptop with windows 7 🤣 Honestly I don't know how to explain it.

I understand what you're saying.

It's different on my end. I have the hardware to run It without noticing any drop In performance. It's even better on my other laptop with 32 GB of Ram, and two VMs active.

I've just finished Installing Windows 11 on 4/7 laptops and compared to Windows 10, It's significantly faster In almost every facet.

The fresh Install was performed via a bootable USB 3.1 stick (and port) and on an SSD as the boot drive, which took around 15 minutes to complete. All In all, I was up and running In 50 minutes - fully configured to my needs, Inclusive of applications Installed.

After 2 weeks of use, I don't think I'll be going back. Most of the stuff I found I disliked (i.e. centered taskbar), had an option to change or I'd already gotten used to it.

It's quite the opposite on my end - I love Windows 11.

My latest customization Is the good ol' classic start menu.

I agree. What I meant by my statement, was that I wouldn't be going back to Windows 10.

Got It.

As per below, namely your dislikes, I thought you were referring to Windows 11.
