My cultural weddings almost all the time turn into a fight - one time towards the end when everyone approached the podium to bid farewell to bride and groom - the groom gave a guy a nice headbutt and swung the guy behind him one right on his jaw. The curtain above collapsed and the two individuals tried to crawl out when the grooms cousin ran in from the hall and started punching on them over the curtain as they were crawling. Eventually they got out and jumped through the window and ran away. Moments later they returned with the police, two cruisers came and some of the guests charged at the police but were held back by some of the other sane guests. One made it through, pulled a knife infront of the police but pointed it at the 2 guys sitting in the backseat. He openly threated them and warned the officer that if they are seen in the city they will get cut. To my surprise the Police didn't want all this headache and simply took the 2 guys away from the scene. Later the groom justified his act after he got slapped by his older brother with "when they came to say goodbye they had a smirk on their faces, they looked at my wife with that smirk."
I can't lie, I enjoy these weddings.

I don't mind them. It's a pretty good chance for some free food and to hang out with friends

I hate it.
In my country, the invited guests have to gift money back to the wedding couples as a form of blessing.
So, everytime I go to a wedding, that makes me $200 poorer.

I'm the night porter in a busy hotel. 3 weddings per week. Same old same old and always someone there that will spoil the night. I hate weddings 😒

What's the worst thing that's happened while you were on the clock? I'd assume guests puking or fighting isn't abnormal.
