Ah yes. The legalization of marijuana in the United States. One of the biggest debates in the history of the US. I believe it should be legalized because people could stop fighting over it and such.

I don't mind it being legal, but just make it legal in only some states. ( like California, New Jersey, Alabama, and Texas )

Why do you believe it should only be legalized to some states? I believe that would make it a much bigger problem as people would then bring it from the state of legalization into other surrounding states, causing even more drug confiscation.

Well then Option 2, we keep it the way it is. Where it is illegal, but still everyone does it. I just don't want it to be come completely legal, because then I think there would be more war, racism, crime etc.

Portugal decriminalized ALL drugs and crime and drug addiction issues plummeted.

Oh, and that's really going to do a lot either way? If you leave it as it is, it will continually be argued throughout the country, to have it changed into a legal substance. If anythings going to happen, we're all going to have to address it and solve it. It's like saying, "Oh those guys have guns, if we don't look at them there's no problem!" It's the same deal, you can't avoid it.

I'm not trying to debate you cause you would loseEvil, I don't think they should legalize it, plus I don't think the government would legal marijuana because it's defined as a drug.

Definition of a drug - A substance that has a physiological effect when ingested or otherwise introduced into the body, in particular.

Have you ever taken anything to help with a headache, stomach ache, cold, or any other factor that made you ill? You most likely did, so therefore you took a drug. They won't legalize because it's a drug, but rather due to the fact it can harm you/others in some cases. The debate is that alcohol and cigarettes due the same thing, so why not weed? The answer is because weed is just a plant with nothing added to it so the government can't tax it well like they do with other things.
