As a matter of Interest, how did the last flight manage to get you home when the other 6 failed?

I was working abroad when the pandemic suddenly came.

As a matter of Interest, how did the last flight manage to get you home when the other 6 failed?

I had to postpone my flight 1 month. Took one layover in another country before arriving home.

I'm not sure if you mean 'another' company, as in another than the one I was working for? But no. My company did not do anything to help me get home.

I'm not sure if you mean 'another' company, as in another than the one I was working for? But no. My company did not do anything to help me get home.

By company, I meant the airline. I'm aware that some airlines were repatriating people who hadn't been booked on their flights originally. Usually, it would be by another airline that's a member of the same group. I was mostly wondering HOW they got you home in the end, if so many other flights didn't go through.

I can't wait to travel and see my loved ones either (both domestically and internationally) but we'll get there. The vaccines are rolling out, and case numbers are getting better in some regions.

They certainly are.

In my locality, we've had 12 days with zero reported cases.
