well i can't start it without it ._.
touch the pins with screwdriver(french screwdriver or something else to make a closed circuit), i think its the third and forth pins make them connect to eachothers to power on (its ok if you tried 3 pins or more your will laptop will work fine).

ok bro if you can't open it, and you still have the problem with your laptop try to buy a new button. don't forget to reply when you fix the problem ,good luck!

like i said before, i dont think its the power button, i really dont want to wait a few days either.

Yes, updating the BIOS does fix Issues similar to this.

Does It fail to boot In Its entirety?

its what i want to do, however it doesn't boot even without key shortcuts or function keys

i don't think it even reaches post, keystrokes doesn't output anything (no sound or graphics). However Win+B just makes it stop somtimes

It sounds like a hardware-related Issue.

You'll have to eliminate your troubleshooting one step at a time.
