Depends. It could take 3 years as HF; HF took 3 years to actually take off, even when Omni bought a existing database. But it could also take 2 months.

Does it matter? The fact of the matter is that right now it's not. So the only thing the community and staff should be focused on is improving the site and attracting members.

That's the key right there. No site should ever compare or have the same ethics as another, in order for a forum / site to succeed it must have original twists.
