I have my cell phone as a backup (Hotspot), with over 300 GB sitting In the data bank.

I've accumulated the data over several months, which Is more than enough for general online activities.
For peace of mind, It's nice to have a backup.

I'm sure you'd find other ways to keep your mind occupied. Humanity survived before the internet existed - AND they didn't go crazy! xD
It's funny what you find interesting when you can't default to your usual sources of entertainment.

If you live in an apartment building or have neighbors that live close to your property the best thing you can do in my opinion and experience is to knock on your neighbor's door and tell them your WiFi is down and you need internet access for that evening to finish a school project or something. As long as you don't look and act sketchy they will give you the password to their network. I've never had somebody tell me no in this situation.

When the internet goes down even for a quick second everyone at my house gets out the room and knocks on my door to restart the modem lol. But when it's down for hours I usually just go out and hang out with my friends.
