I have to say, same! We will have to travel somewhere for a white Christmas.
Though, the concept of a white Christmas in Britain came from 1500s to 1800s during the Little Ice Age, back when the Thames river would freeze over. It's not really a thing that occurs very often nowadays, despite being in the Northern Hemisphere.

I'll be back tomorrow with more Christmas trivia!

They also used to run entire fairs on the frozen river. I always thought that was fascinating.

I'd just have to drive North 13 hours XD

That's Insane, I would've loved to experience It.

If It's how I visualize It, how on earth (or should I say on "Ice") can you keep your footing on frozen river?

RE: Christmas! - BurritoBeans - 12-24-2018

I get to spend time with family and then go to work from 2PM until 2AM the next day, yay?

It does suck a bit at times since it's just going to be me cleaning up and getting stuff moved around, I've been doing Christmas this way for three years now, but hey double time pay is nice.

From the illustrations they have, it looks like you're just walking on thick snow with patches of ice. Therefore, with great skill - I imagine!

The latter Is what I'd like to have but without an acceptable level of schooling nor any certifications. It's next to Impossible In my locality.
