Also, why do you bother with all these GUI disasters?

Just install fluxbox and be happy. It has all of the things you need and none of those useless graphical bullshit things.

yeee not the first time i heard tmux is screen for millenials lmao.

i'm not really a fan of fluxbox... eventually i will install and use Ruwm, but that's just not done yet. I still favor i3 over everything else, it's just not the WM in the screenshot right now. if wayland does take off anytime soon, which i don't expect it too, i'll have to migrate whatever i wrote for my WM to wayland, since i'll be too tempted not too.

for now i'm sticking with i3/ gnome tho

I had great success getting 3 monitor vesa mounts and then just bolting them to the desk. The ones I got were like $30, made of strong steel, and even came with a clamp attachment in case you didnt want to drill holes to bolt it down.
