This was somewhat of a rare Incident that evidently doesn't happen too often. Most flights are quite pleasant.

If you have fear of flying, then that's a different Issue altogether.

I'm against airlines overbooking for sure, but the guy could have just followed directions if he didn't want injuries. Force wasn't used until he didn't comply. They could have been a bit more gentle, though.

I used to jump out of airplanes, not really an issue. Its more of the control and seizure, forfeiture of rights one can experience just because they say so. I mean, lets face it, flying isnt cheap... and they dont just refund your money... at least not to my knowledge.
