What make this site so great are the quizzes. Codeacademy has some of that but you have to pay and they kind of suck anyway. This site kicks ass!

EDIT: I've been doing a few exercises, and although the site is great, i feel like they could go a bit more in-depth into the topics they cover.

I agree but it is great for a reviewing or getting the jist. I feel like you can learn the language on the site, practice it on your own and research the details later.

Yeah, it is nice that it's free but you do get what you paid for. It's a really great resource to get the gist of things, but they definitely leave some stuff out.

You guys can also try this site. It's a great site although not very interactive. I'd definitely check it out if you're a quick learner.

Definitely an excellent learning resource.

I've just checked out the SQL section, and It certainly only covers the very basics. I can answer the lot off the top of my head. That said, without question, It's a great starting point.

Yeah they didn't even really cover parallelization, multicore usage, or any data structures like hash maps, trees, dictionaries etc for c++ so I was a bit bummed about that. Besides that, it is really great for bare bones.

Very much agree.

For those already advanced, It won't be of benefit but It's an excellent resource for beginners.
