You don't need anything super crazy if you're going to just be using Photoshop, but if you get into the more advanced stuff like Video Editing etc you're probably going to want something more powerful
School/Mixing also doesn't require anything that powerful. If I were you i'd save some money and go with a Windows Laptop with better specs than the macbook you would get for the same price.
Deff recommend the lenovo route, you will have paid much less and it will work fine.
Mine works great as it is, minus that my display doesn't like gradients.
