Nothing wrong with some fun with this game. Hype can be irritating, but then, just don't use social media and it won't be so bad?

Agree.

But the problem with social media, Is that so many people's lives are dependent on It. They use It as their main gateway of communication In nearly all facets of their lives. I'm still at a loss (and always will be), as to how anyone can post their personal details for the entire globe to see. And then they wonder why their Identity Is stolen and/or their credentials are compromised.

Oh goodness me, the entire population of Japan will be onto It.

You're quite correct, just them alone, will overload the servers.

I agree with you there. I think better education about our more technology reliant world in schools could go a long way too. Most of what I know now is because I spoke to strangers on the internet and found out about the dangers of the internet through them, through threats, and through losing my favourite email address that was compromised xD

I never liked the whole "The internet is full of creeps and strangers" thing. Its about the same as real life. You have to be careful sure, bit Ive met some really cool people online.

It's more that often, people online feel removed from the consequences of negative actions towards someone else, therefore are more likely to do those actions or do more severe actions. You're not wrong in the fact people are dodgy irl though.

What I meant earlier was more in relation to the sharing of personal information with strangers. You wouldn't necessarily tell a stranger irl where you live etc, so why do it online and expect to be safer than you would doing it irl?
