RE: HTML Certified - Kaneki Ken - 07-05-2016 Definitely having this on your resume and an Adobe product that you're certified in will go really well on a resume. For Web Designers/Developers, you don't really need to go to college, but you do have to prove what you know, by a portfolio or a certification. Congrats though! Would be a waste. If your honest and true and tried and passed then cool. Why does it matter? If I didn't go to a community college or something to pay 1000s to get basically the same thing? Ehh just thought I would post it to be more active and such. Not really saying its the best way to do it or saying its 100 percent official. Just saying its kinda cool lol Its a kudos to myself if you will. RE: HTML Certified - Conch - 07-05-2016 Yeah, I agree with Diego, this is a really nice opportunity to grab these certs, especially for languages like Javascript and PHP, for business profiles like LinkedIn. Although a lot of companies go with years of experience over certificates, why not have both? You'll have the skills and the portfolio for an ongoing professional career. I have quite a lot of Certificates from Udemy, I don't think they mean much, since I never paid for them, but I did pay for the course (Mainly for HQ Streams, Troubleshooting my code with other learners, and the Cert of course) but it's nice to have them.

This ^^^ A certification (In It's recognized form) Is a certification- Irrespective of where It's obtained and the amount paid to achieve It. Provided you do It as per It's requirements and not cheat your way through, then that's all that matters. Enough said. |
