They are proud of something they have no control over, aka being born with a mental illness, and Youtube and Twitter are glorifying it. That's like me being proud because I was born with blue eyes. I'm myself every day, I wasn't aware you got awarded and congratulated for it. There is absolutely nothing special about being mentally ill, the fact that the media is condoning it and shoving it down everyone's throats is sickening. It actually does affect both of us when these people are making videos saying "we will be noticed and we will be heard." Sounds like what the Muslims said before they started tearing up Germany, and it's very similar to what a panelist said on the news in the UK talking about how Muslims will turn the UK black within the next century. I agree with you, it's only that it's cheaper and easier to just make the person in question happy than it is to spend millions in research and therapy for something as frivolous as this. It's funny that I say this, as I don't mind trans people. Want to be a girl? Guy? Fine. Just don't rub it in like you're above me, because you aren't. I'm not better than anyone else here because I have a dick, and you aren't because you pretend not to. RE: #ProudToBe hits 200k dislikes - charles - 06-26-2016 Shame that idiotic LGBT* phobics from /b/ and other places raided this video and disliked it. Congrats to all the LGBT* people who are brave enough to come out, and shame to those who dislike their bravery. You should seriously consider suicide RE: #ProudToBe hits 200k dislikes - superMAUS - 06-26-2016 I don't see the issue with being proud, I mean everyone is proud of stuff they have no control over like their culture etc. I do agree to some extent that it is a mental illness but if you follow the same kind of thought process that you would for other mental conditions like autism and just encourage the person to accept/embrace it then I don't see the problem. RE: #ProudToBe hits 200k dislikes - BxxxxxD~~ - 06-26-2016 seems a bit ironic that they are pushing for "freedom" for genders yet they disable free speech in the comments. surprised that they didn't disable ratings tho. Must've been a flame war going on over there. RE: #ProudToBe hits 200k dislikes - XltSystem - 06-26-2016 In my opinion, i think there are only 2 genders(Male and Female) and 3 if you include hermaphrodites. Im sorry if i have offended any of you semi-queer foxkin-polymorph demimales. Regardless I suppose you are right on this point as we are proud of our heritage and align our self with our heritage based on cultural practices. Still, my point on how we treat autism still stands. |
