I've always used BTC as my main currency, beneficial for me.

I'd also advise members to never use Paypal, It's a trap.

Wise choice Oni, PayPal know how to fuck people over and by accepting bitcoins you are free from limitations and chargebacks of those corrupt members.

I understand that paypal is very commonly used. However, if it causes issues that could affect the site in terms of restrictng the use of the site funds due their retarded policies, then it simply isn't beneficial to SL. I'm sure there are plenty of alternatives.

It's for the best, from my perspective. What normally happens is members pay for things through PayPal and end up disputing their transactions the moment their account gets closed. I don't know if that's the case with members on Sinisterly, though.

You can dispute a transaction for a time period of 6 Months. (Which sucks, should do 1 Month). So it's better to remove PayPal, as it sucked anyway.

Yeah, that's lame. Someone could get suspended and completely forget about the fact that they had a subscription on Sinisterly, then five months later they check their PayPal transaction logs and notice it, then they dispute the payment because they're in desperate need of the cash, or they simply want to cause the site owner problems.

Paypal seems skilled at not helping it's users when they are scammed or get taken advantage of due to paypals poor system. It's too easy to pee on someone and Paypal won't help them.

I can confirm that localbitcoins is legit, if anyone is searching for a site to exchange bitcoins. You can't stay anonymous though since they ask for ID (you can use fake ID) but once you have been approved you can buy and sell as much bitcoins as you like.

Closing this thread, as we're now accepting Paypal again. You have to contact us and the transaction is even more manual than before.

Spoiler:
They are still garbage.
