Went for a different approach but if you want I can try using the news paper thing you made Jimmy.

I just feel it looks really bulky on a userbar.

I like it, just fix the background and the "shine" which goes over the globe is too harsh..

The background is the correct color of FJ for where the userbar sits the posting area color is different and I can lighten it more if requested by who ever is choosing the writers userbar.

Looks cool mate. Although the group is 'writers' not 'news' so having a globe doesn't really make sense lol.
