So do shooting sports qualify as alternative?

I suppose so, as they aren't very mainstream.

OT: I don't really play many alternative sports...

Yeah when most people think of sports they don't really consider things like that.

What kind of shooting?
I always wanted to learn to fire a bow, those awesome carbon fiber crysis style bows ^^

All sorts. I'm into archery, handgun, and rifle shooting. Mainly handgun target shooting. I also really love skeet/pigeon shooting but I don't get to do it very much.

Cool to see someone that does Archery. I always wanted to get into it but I suck with a bow.

Yeah, it's not really all that fun; I don't bow hunt or anything, but I have a pretty decent Matthews bow. I'll target shoot with it once in a while but arrows can be pretty expensive and if you shoot from a distance you can lose them once in a while.

That would suck, do they have indoor courses for you to use or no?

Yeah that kinda sucks, but still I love it dunno why.
Maybe because I'm sort of a nerd and love medieval movies where everyone knew how to use a bow Tongue

Well, they have indoor ranges, mainly at sporting goods stores, and there are private ranges but they cost too much to be worth it IMO. I live on 10 acres so I have my own outdoor shooting range.
