It will be counted as a seperate post and not combine into the original post, this can be used to make more neat/organized threads especially if they are going to be big threads like tutorials or something of that kind.

I think it would work good for winner announcements to keep it organized and more simple instead of making a billion new threads, but I am not exactly sure on what you mean with competition threads.

Another one to toss in for ya @Oni, I think Platinum and Diamond should be allowed to delete their own threads regardless of time constraint. I have some cringe threads that I'd absolutely love to get rid of and I can imagine a LOT of other members do too.
