I would buy a private island, build a house and grow weed in peace for the rest of my life.

I'd have an island just to grow on. [emoji14]

I would be more safe about that, create over 400 different bank/credit union accounts (The best method here would be to go with a credit union) and then put $250,00 in each savings account and then work for a few years. The reason being is that the FDIC only covers you up to $250,000/acc if anything was to happen to the money during its duration in the account. Having sepperate accounts allows you to gain interest on all of that money without risking all of it at one (Or in this case, $99,750,000 wont be lost if something was to happen)

First? I wouldn't tell anyone. Other than my mother.

(Based off my credit union's interest ratio [.15])
250,000 * .15 = $37,500/year

$35,500 * 400 = 15,000,000/year

With that being said, you'd have to transfer that money out of the account each year and open up more just to always play by FDIC's rules; which is why I said over 400 accounts. Lots of upkeep and tracking..
Work for 5 years off my salary which means I'd have 401 accounts, 1 being my personal account.

15,000,000 * 5 = 75,000,000

After that, look for better job opportunities; (assuming I won't like my first job out of college) Something that is less stressful yet pays pretty equal. Pay off all of my student debt, move out to Washington if I haven't already by then, buy a very roomy house for my single self with a large garage, build a computer that will last until quantum computers become available for consumers; Buy a white 2004 Lamborghini Gallarado.
Picture for reference.

Daily drive an E30/E28
Weekend driver - Porsche Panamera Turbo S

Breakdown:
House - Varied price, unable to guess >$2,000,000
Lamborghini Gallardo - $105,000 (Average price for used)
BMW E30 M3 - $5,000-$10,000 (Depending on condition) >$20,000 after engine work
2014 Porshe Panamera Turbo S - $89,000 (Average price for used)

HAF Stacker - $135.00
Intel i7 5960X - $1049.00
ASUS X99-E Workstation - $519.00
Klevv Cras 128GB - ??? (128GB kits not out yet)
4x EVGA Titan Z - $1549.99 x 4 = 6199.96
30TB of NvME SSDs - ??? No way to gauge this.. Most of them are M.2+ Sata Express
Yadda yadda yadda

You would be able to do all of this stuff I just talked about the first year from the interest however, giving back to others that have given you more than they themselves deserve is priceless. There is no set price to as how much money you can give to those who've helped you with everything and getting to where you are today. With that being said, I would make sure my mother and father, even if he wasn't around for the majority of my left so far; never has to work a god damn day in their lives again.

Edit: yes, I've thought about this a lot, thoroughly. Just without randomly obtaining, rather than working for it.

RE: $100,000,000 - m0dem - 09-30-2015

Here are my thoughts, I would put all but like 1% of the money into a stable investment and then I would start my own company while still being frugal and acting as if I didn't have a penny to spare, but not living as if I were poor.

EDIT: And I'd get a fantastic (but efficient) gaming computer/supercomputer so I could run Heroes and Generals. Wink2

I'd buy the best gaming PC in the world which would cost me around 2 million.

Thats a dank computer setup if anyone has it.

Edit: Hey, he could be building a server under his house; however this doesn't count as one computer.
