Its not about what Americans would say. If any country would make a film with animated Obama head blowing up. I am sure Obama would actually launch a cyber attack. He has done it before to Iran (Stuxnet, Flame?) according to some articles, not making accusations myself. If an American would do it, I am sure he would be arrested. RE: North Korea throwing a fit? - w00t - 12-22-2014 Stuxnet and flame were both started before the current president took office. As much as Americans may not like Obama, he is still the president. If he were to actually be assassinated, everyone would be very upset, markets would tank, and a war would probably begin. So, yes, if there was a movie being published about a plot to assassinate Obama, it would get attacked. That being said, if it were the DPRK trying to make it so a specific movie wasn't released, they would have just done so. They wouldn't have waited a few weeks to make any statement remotely involving the movie, and they sure wouldn't have stated that their original reason was to expose corruption within Sony. All one big mess for nothing really. RE: North Korea throwing a fit? - Oni - 12-24-2014 As hard as I try, it's hard to not picture Kim Jong Un as a belligerent toddler - fully equipped with a massive rattle and puffy diapers. I remember the week after he was made their leader, I thought he was in his twenties. Nobody even corrected me. That being said, when haven't they thrown a fit? |
